How to read this page

The tables above come from one dated price list, the same one the Microsoft 365 License Cost Calculator and the Microsoft 365 Plan Comparison Chart use. All prices are Microsoft’s US list prices in US dollars per user a month.

  • Plan prices show each plan with and without Teams on an annual commitment, the month-to-month price where Microsoft shows one, and the nonprofit price where Microsoft’s nonprofit pages list one. Enterprise and Office 365 plans with Teams are shown as the plan without Teams plus Microsoft Teams Enterprise, because that is how new customers buy them.
  • Add-on prices are annual-commitment prices, with Microsoft’s offers and their dates beside them. Microsoft’s Copilot Business offer ($18.00 instead of $21.00) is for existing business customers for the first year, on orders from July 1 to December 31, 2026.
  • What changed lists Microsoft’s commercial price changes of July 1, 2026, old and new.

To price your own mix of plans and add-ons, including month-to-month and nonprofit pricing, use the cost calculator; to see what each plan includes, use the chart.

Where the figures come from

Every price comes from a Microsoft page, read on the date in the list under the tables: the business, enterprise, Office 365 and frontline plan pages (with the yearly and monthly toggles), the additional services pages, the Microsoft Purview Suite, Teams Premium and Teams Phone pages, the Business Premium security add-on page, Microsoft’s nonprofit plan and offer pages, and Microsoft’s Microsoft 365 Pricing and Packaging Updates announcement. Microsoft Learn’s Teams add-on licensing page is the source for how new enterprise customers buy Teams and which plans take Teams Phone.

Not shown, because Microsoft’s public pages don’t list them: month-to-month prices outside the business plans, a separate price for an annual commitment paid monthly, nonprofit prices beyond the plans above, a Teams Phone price for frontline workers, and prices outside the US.

Teams and new enterprise customers

Microsoft Learn says that since April 1, 2024, new enterprise customers who want Teams buy two licenses: the E1, E3 or E5 suite without Teams and Microsoft Teams Enterprise. Customers who already had a suite with Teams can renew it. Business plans (up to 300 users) and frontline plans are still sold both with and without Teams. That is why the enterprise rows show two prices adding up to the with-Teams figure.
